Brileigh was the last of her three siblings to get married, and when I say that broke my heart just a little, I’m not even joking. I shot Brileigh’s sister Breanna’s wedding last year, and traveling back to the Twin Cities, Minnesota for Jakson + Brileigh was like visiting family. Dickie weddings are known to be large, fun, and a little rowdy, so naturally I fit right in. Even with a year between the two celebrations, we picked up where we left off and started the party again!
The wedding morning was quite windy and the sun played peek-a-boo all day long, but it was a perfect temperature. So many emotions, feelings and laughs were shared, and everything came together so beautifully. Usually at weddings something unexpected happens, or someone forgets something, but I can honestly say everything flowed without a hitch … haha, well technically, just one hitch – Jakson to Brileigh! Wow, I’m the worst with jokes.
